Double pivot hinge
A hinge with two pivot points lets the contoured backrest curve naturally while still folding flat. Support that moves with you.

Every material and finish is chosen for performance, longevity, and refined design. The frame is powder-coated aluminum — light in hand, strong under load, and naturally resistant to rust and corrosion. Precision-molded composite components keep connections tight and durable while maintaining the clean, minimal form.
The covers are constructed from Olefin, a premium outdoor performance fabric that resists stains, mildew, and UV exposure. It dries quickly, cleans easily, and slips off for washing or replacement — built for real outdoor living, from morning coffee to sunset spills.

The Daymaker was developed with the industrial design studio Alquemy. Together we explored frame geometry, hinge mechanisms, and seating angles through dozens of prototypes and refinements — prioritizing how people naturally sit, relax, and want to feel.
The result is a seat where every line, angle, and proportion serves a purpose. A well-designed object made for outdoor living.
